Woodstock is one of the oldest neighborhood in the city of Cape Town. Once a small fishing hamlet, Woodstock began life as Papendorp in the mid-1800s, before land reclamation in the 1950s destroyed the magnificent Woodstock Beach.

Nowadays it has become a ‘trendy’ precinct, very dynamic and full of creativity, but not yet connected with the city.

We will see a few Industrial buildings from the textile Industry, converted into contemporary mixt-use building , as part of the urban gentrification process.
